In celebration of the 71st Araw ng Dabaw, a different kind of trade fair will open tomorrow, 15 March 2008, Saturday, at the Rizal Park.
“Tabo”, a Cebuano term for “market” or “trading place”, will showcase booths that will sell unique items, goods, crafts, vegetables, fruits, food and agricultural products, among many others.
What makes this two-day flea market unique is the participation of grassroots entrepreneurs (communities, NGO, farmers and cooperatives) who want to display and sell their products.
There will be 30 booths, given free of charge to the local entrepreneurs. “Tabo” is open to the public from 9 Am to 12 MN. (CTOO/ircgarcia)
